Job Description:
Huanyu Wei received his Ph.D. in polymer chemistry and physics in 2001 at University of Science and Technology of China under guidance of professor Wenfang Shi. His research work during his Ph.D study focused on the synthesis, characterization and their application in UV Curing of dendritic polymers which resulted in two chinese patents and more than ten publications. From March 2002 to January 2005, he had been working in DSM research, the Netherlands , with Dr. Aylvin Dias and Dr. Paul steeman as a postdoctoral fellow on developing new technology for optical fibre coatings and tough materials for stereolithography. His research work in DSM Research resulted in one European and PCT patent and another patent filed. Currently he is working with Dr. Charles Hoyle and Dr. Sonny JÖnsson from Fusion as a postdoctoral fellow on thiol-ene photopolymerization and self-initiating monomers in University of Southern Mississippi .
